Review of Pagan Portals: Brigid When I heard about this book, I couldn't wait to read it. Number one reason is that the Goddess Brigid resonated so much in the hearts and souls of the Irish people that they stubbornly refused to give her up despite the island nation's conversion to Christianity.

Well done to Morgan Daimler on this gem of a book! While it is small, it is packed with loads of information - complete with sources and end notes.

I'm going to have to read this book more than once to absorb everything. Even though the book is relatively short, it's well-researched and it provides sources ranging from other books, primary sources, music, art, and even fiction.
