I'm an engineering student and have been working in the oil and gas industry for a few years (I'm only 21) and this book is great if you already have just a basic understand of the industry. It gives you calculations for just about everything there is to know.

I am really satisfied about the "Standard Handbook of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, Second Edition". The book covers basically all the aspects of the Drilling and Petroleum Industry.

I purchase this book a few weeks ago. I haven't been able to read the whole thing because it is very long but it is detailed.
